Eat

Throughout Jesus' life and ministry he was always looking to meet people where they were. He would live among people, heal people and eat with people. But Jesus' ministry goes deeper than that, when Jesus ate with people he was opening up a new way to understand community, the meaning of our lives here on earth and how to live well with those around us. Jesus invites us into abundant life through the intimate act of eating with others.
The question is, are we willing to let Jesus in and eat with us... ALL of us?

Jesus calls us to “go to the ends of the earth.” But that was two thousand years ago somewhere in the Middle East, what about us who are here in the four corners of the earth already? How do we honour Jesus in this place, with our lives, in real ways?

Most people didn't know the other members of the supper groups they were attending - so it was a courageous step out of their comfort-zones...
